Digitizing your Lessons - Prepare for a new era of Teaching! 1/4

As schools are announcing their plans for reopening, a lot of teachers are discovering that distance learning is the new recommended standard for keeping our students and educators safe. While I am still anxiously awaiting for my county to release its plans for us, I have started the process of converting my worksheets and lessons into a digital format. I have no qualms in doing this before my county's official plan is announced because let's get real, even if we return to regular physical school teachers are going to have to make accommodations for a high rate of absent students. And I don't even want to think about the crazy fluctuations of enrollment if parents figure out that virtual school is quite not working or when things finally calm down and students start trickling back into our classrooms! Crazy times call for extra preparations!

To facilitate this process, I have created another blog series on how to convert your lessons into a digital format. Now, there are so many amazing ways to do this, these are just the ways I found to be easiest for both me and my students. I hope it is helpful to you. The whole reason I made this blog was to share things I have learned with others and we all really need each other now, and for the foreseeable future! You may also be interested in my Bitmoji virtual classroom series if you do not already know how to do that. My virtual classroom will be mentioned a lot in the tutorials since I have it all linked up. Also, if you do not know how to use Google forms for auto-graded assessments check out this blog, it is super easy to do!

You may already have prior knowledge or only want to learn a few tricks, so I have broken up this process into a few tutorials. They should go together as a step-by-step guide, but you can move through as needed.
